PernaTec Greenshell Mussel Oil extract

PernaTec is a pure, clean and natural oil extract manufactured from 100% sustainably farmed New Zealand Greenshell Mussels. The New Zealand Greenshell Mussel ( perna canaliculus), is a bivalve mollusc supported with decades of research examining its benefits for joint health. PernaTec is a concentrated source of Phospholipids, typically containing between 35% and 45%, and is also rich in the essential Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA. Over 15 different Phospholipids have been identified in PernaTec Oil and up to 8% of the total oil in PernaTec is Omega 3's bound to Phospholipids. This is important because Phospholipid bound Omega 3 fatty acids have enhanced absorbtion and are more resistant to oxidation. Manufacture of PernaTec oil is tightly controlled throughout the supply chain. We start by sourcing sustainable Greenshell Mussels of the highest export quality from approved suppliers and convert these into stabilised freeze dried mussels in our Christchurch, New Zealand based factory. The freeze dried mussels then undergo a further specialised extraction process, resulting in a high quality, amber coloured oil, bulk packed and shipped to a range of destinations worldwide.
