ABAlife®: FIG FRUIT EXTRACT

ABAlife® is a patented fig fruit extract (Ficus carica L.) standardized to abscisic acid (ABA). An acute clinical trial showed its potential in managing blood sugar levels by controlling glycemic and insulinemic indices. In a type 2 diabetes animal model study, oral administration of Abalife® improved glucose tolerance, insulin sensitivity, and fasting blood glucose. It also enhanced metabolic flexibility, facilitating better energy utilization in the body. Our figs are sustainably grown in Spain and processed at our Euromed facilities in Murcia, Spain, using the innovative Pure-Hydro Process® to produce ABAlife®. This water-only extraction technology preserves the natural properties of the fig while concentrating its natural ABA content.
