WELLEMON®: LEMON FRUIT EXTRACT - BIOAVAILABLE CITRUS FLAVONOIDS

Wellemon® is a lemon fruit extract (Citrus limon L.) standardized to the water-soluble flavanone eriocitrin. In a human pharmacokinetic study, Wellemon®’s eriocitrin was found to be more bioavailable than hesperidin, producing up to 30 times higher concentrations of metabolites with potential health benefits for cardiometabolic, vascular, cognitive, and nutricosmetic applications. Our lemons are sustainably grown in Spain and processed at our Euromed facilities in Murcia, Spain, using the innovative Pure-Hydro Process® to produce Wellemon®. This water-only extraction technology preserves the natural properties of the lemon while concentrating eriocitrin and other flavanones.
