The AgriFood Growth & Water Abundance (AGWA) Cluster is Abu Dhabi’s innovation hub for sustainable agrifood and water solutions. From next-gen proteins to advanced water treatment, AGWA supports the development of bold technologies within Abu Dhabi’s forward-thinking regulatory and industrial ecosystem.
AGWA focuses on novel approaches to challenges in food insecurity and water scarcity, like alternative protein development, algae-based applications for food and feed, reverse osmosis and water treatment solutions, as well as innovations in supply chain management and smart logistics. The cluster is designed to enable scalable solutions, from research and development to commercial deployment.
