GvEx®, a patented product, extracted from Psidium guajava Linn. (guava) leaf. Guava leaf had been used as brewable tea leaf in the East Asia since long ago. It is useful in preventing diarrhea, inhibiting bacterial growth, relieving intestinal discomfort, and balancing the blood sugar levels.
Optimal extraction applied to GvEx® for maximum total phenolic yield. The high total phenolic content is one of the critical points correlated to its health effects.
Use ultrasonic extraction with water at low temperature instead of solvent to extract polyphenols. This technology was developed by Taiwan’s outstanding university cooperation with ICCN (Innovative Center of Cellular Nutrition) in Han-Sient Group and is protected by national patent.
