Bactorinol® Nasal Spray (MEDICAL DEVICE)

Bactorinol® Nasal Spray is a medical device formulated with winterized Lentisk oil (from Pistacia lentiscus berries), designed to support the management of nasal congestion through a multi-functional mechanism. The formulation promotes the fluidification of nasal secretions, helps clear the nasal passages and facilitates breathing, while providing a soothing effect on irritated mucosa. Lentisk oil is characterized by a bactericidal activity with the ability to disrupt bacterial biofilms, contributing to the control of microbial proliferation within the nasal cavity. At the same time, its emollient components help reduce irritation associated with inflammatory conditions such as common cold. Thanks to its targeted action, Bactorinol® Nasal Spray represents an innovative approach in the non-pharmacological management of upper respiratory tract discomfort, combining mechanical cleansing with microbiological control. Bactorinol® MD is currently under MDR registration. The same medical device is also available in oral drops, offering a more suitable administration option for specific populations, including children.
