The global wellness market has exploded in popularity in recent years, growing in revenue by 60% from $3.4 trillion in 2013 to $5.6 trillion in 2022. New research from the Global Wellness Institute predicts that by 2027 revenues will soar by a further 57% to $8.5 trillion, representing approximately double the gross domestic product (GDP) of Germany.

For women today, wellness means more than simply a healthy body. From mastering the gut microbiome to climbing the corporate ladder, holistic wellness encompasses the full spectrum of the nutraceutical industry. Yet with consumers sceptical of ‘silver bullet’ solutions, brands must create multifunctional science-backed products that align with women’s changing needs.
